From Leaseholder to Stakeholder: Monasa Enables Landmark Payout to NYS
Monasa Advisory is proud to have played a pivotal role in unlocking the first-ever dividend payout of N$10 million by the Namibia Grape Company (NGC) to its sole shareholder, the National Youth Service (NYS).
As transactional advisor, Monasa was instrumental in renegotiating and facilitating the restructured partnership between NGC and Capespan, transitioning NGC from a passive leaseholder to an active commercial stakeholder with a 51% equity share. This shift has now translated into real, tangible value for the NYS and, most importantly, for Namibia’s youth. This is more than a dividend it’s a symbol of shared value, visionary leadership, and socioeconomic empowerment. This is what meaningful impact looks like.
